Clothing and Swimwear / Club Caps
Swimwear, hats, rash vests and other items are available to purchase or order through our club. These are not required for Sunday morning Nippers, but club colours must be worn to compete in surf carnivals.

All children taking part in Junior club activities, whether at Sunday Nippers or surf carnivals, must wear the official club cap and a high visibility pink rash vest.
Wearing these helps us easily spot our members among beach visitors on Sundays and ensures they are clearly identified from other clubs at carnivals. Little Nippers wear a coloured cap (yellow or blue) for their age group. New members receive their first cap when they join.
Club Gear
The club provides boards for junior members to use in board events at Sunday Nippers, carnivals and training. Foam boards are for Under 9 and Under 10. Fibreglass boards are used by Under 11 to Under 13. Long boards are for Under 14.
If your child needs a board or other club gear for a carnival, please speak with the Gear Stewards so they can help you organise it.
All boards must be washed down, returned and stored correctly after use. Everyone using boards shares this responsibility.
Please report any damage to boards or gear to the Gear Stewards so repairs can be arranged. There is no blame for accidental damage. However, misuse or careless handling of club equipment will not be accepted.
Proper water safety will always be on hand when boards are used at training. This rule comes from Branch level as part of our Duty of Care and applies to all junior members.
