| Active Member – new to the Club or transitioning from Nippers into senior ranks |

- Bronze Medallion training
- Patrol uniform (SLSA uniforms are mandatory when conducting patrols & the member will be liable for replacement costs should the uniform be lost or damaged)
The new member will be required to cover the following additional costs:
- Public Safety and Aquatic Rescue Manual (Bronze Medallion training manual) – the manual will be charged at cost price & is fully refundable should the manual be returned to the Club in good condition
- Various club & SLSA apparel is available for purchase

Any person that wishes to join the club, elects not to do patrols but takes an active part in running / organising / helping out the club e.g. Office Bearer (junior or senior), Nipper Age Manager, Nipper water safety, etc.
To qualify for this category, the member must participate in their role/s on a regular basis. Members assisting on a one-off / infrequent basis are not eligible |
