Hi there nippers and families,
A few things for this week:
1. BE SUN SAFE. Please make sure everyone has sunscreen on before nippers starts.
We are considering having sunscreen for purchase at the club and would like to know what you think about the idea.
2. U9’s & 10’s on the BBQ this week please.
3. MARCH PAST training starts at 8.30am, we still need 2 more people. Anyone interested? Come on down.
4. The Age Managers for U8’s and U9’s are away this week. Could we have a couple of parents from each of these groups help with looking after the group for the week? That would be greatly appreciated.
5. There are lots of streets still available for our annual Collection Week. This is a legitimate Surf Life Saving Appeals week, and it is our major fund raiser. Due to having a smaller Nippers group this season, we need more people to help us out and spend a couple of hours with your kids door knocking. Please come and grab a street and bucket from me this Sunday. Appeals week starts Saturday 31st October and finishes Sunday 7th November.
6.There is Surf Rescue Certificate and a Bronze Medallion Course at Port Kembla on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November. If you are interested in helping with water safety or patrols, these courses are a requirement. I believe there were some people who were interested, please let me know on Sunday so I can give number to Dan Meehan, who is running the training.
