Hi there Nippers and families,
1. BE SUN SAFE. Please make sure everyone has sunscreen on before Nippers starts.
2. U8s on the BBQ this week please.
3. MARCH PAST training starts at 8.30am, we still need two more people. Anyone interested? Come on down.
4. The Age Manager for U12s is away this week. The U12s will be joining the U13s/U14s.
5. There are lots of streets still available for our annual collection week. This is a legitimate Surf Life Saving Appeals week, and it is our major fundraiser. Due to having a smaller Nippers group this season, we need more people to help us out and spend a couple of hours with your kids door knocking. Please come and grab a street and bucket from me this Sunday. Appeals week starts Saturday 31st October and finishes Sunday 7th November.
6.There is a Surf Rescue Certificate and a Bronze Medallion Course at Port Kembla on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November. If you are interested in helping with water safety or patrols, these courses are a requirement. So far we have five from Corrimal going … that’s fantastic. See you at Port Kembla Olympic Pool ready to swim at 8am.
