Branch Carnival today at Towradgi beach.
A perfect sunrise to start the day, Steve Waddell arrived early to get the best position with the trailer … great commitment. Thanks, Steve. Set up was quick and easy and all our Nippers were pumped and ready for the day.
We started off with our March Past Team taking out the Gold for the 11th year in a row … some stiff competition form Stanwell Park, but a great reward for hard work, time and effort. Very proud of all the kids who turned up early every Sunday morning to train for this day. We will be doing a display at Nippers tomorrow at 10am.
Then the day turned up some great results in the water with Ashton winning gold in the wade for U8s, Bella winning a gold for swim and bronze for board U10s, and Angus winning bronze for his sprint U13s.
Thank you to all the parents who helped make this such a perfect day, whether you helped with water safety, official duties, ferrying kids to events, helping out with blue bottle stings, taking photos or helping set up and pack up. Thank you. It’s a big commitment with the early starts and big days in the sun.
Proud to be part of Corrimal …
Cheers, Lisa
