A quick reminder of a few things happening this week:
1. Andrew is away this week so we will need a bit of extra help with setup and pack up of the BBQ. It is U13/14 on the BBQ this week but they will still need extra help.
2. All appeals week collections need to come back this Sunday. Thank you to everyone that helped with this and to those who have already bought their’s back.
3. Only a month til we have our Xmas break from Nippers. We always make the last Nippers day a special one. Santa comes for the kids and we have a raffle … for this to happen we need donations from families of non perishable items, please. This will add to the generous donation of vouchers from a few local businesses. If everyone could bring something and put it in the bucket provided, we will be able to hold a great raffle on the 20th December.
Raffle tickets will be handed out in the next couple of weeks to every family to sell.
4. Proficiencies for current SRC kids and for those who have not yet done their pool or ocean proficiencies will be done this Sunday … if conditions allow.
5. Good luck to all our Sydney Water competitors.
6. We are still looking for a couple more kids for our March Past team. We have a proud history and have won 9 gold medals out of 10, and it would be a shame not to have a whole team to represent us on 6th and 13th Feb 2016. It would be the first time in 12 years that we don’t have a team. That would be a shame. Most of the team is new to marching so you wouldn’t be alone. Looking for U10s and above but happy to see if U9s are interested.
7. Linda is away also, Age Manager of U7s. We may need a couple of parents to help out this Sunday.
